Nicaragua San Juan Del Sur Surfing
Nicaragua: San Juan del Sur (Y Omotepe) THINGS TO DO
We will be in San Juan Del Sur Nicaragua for a week, staying in a house in the hills with our own car. Some questions: Where is the best place to surf? If we can rent a boat to take us a few minutes the coast, reef breaks are good? In Omotepe, where we stay and what can be done with or without a car? Are there interesting places to go cliff jumping? If you want rent jet skis, what will it cost and can we do in the city? What else is incredible and memorable to do in Nicaragua? Response as it can, much appreciated.
Ometepe is very beautiful. The vision of the two volcanoes rising from the lake is almost surreal. You can hire guides for hiking in the jungle and to two volcanoes and a waterfall that is very picturesque if very tired (a good chance of wildlife). There are beaches, but apart of the big stage that are not as pretty as San Juan del Sur and co .- water is more turbid and the surf is not as impressive. Most of the island is gravel or dirt roads. Buses and trucks that make a regular circuit of the island, but they are not very frequent schedule. They are also old and funky and on some days crowded absurd. You can to do with them, but a car would be good if the cost is not a problem. San Juan del Sur is nice, but are the best beaches further south along the coast.
